    132 Chapel Street, Windsor

Summary: Country Italy in the midst of Chapel St madness.

    Miletos Front Room

A cosy and rustic touch of country Italy in the middle of chapel street, friendly service & top quality food make this a popular haunt for many locals of Windsor/Pharhan. Should any of the many visiting “passers-by” stop in they are extremely lucky and generally very happy.

Owned and operated by an Italian family from a farming background in South Gippsland, Laura and Pepe Mileto, the venue boasts a low-key and friendly vibe true to the family’s roots. Mileto’s began as a simple deli some 7 years ago, and has since morphed it into one of the areas’ best cafes offering a great variety of house-made dishes to tempt a wide range of taste buds.

From fresh daily choices of salads & soups to Roti wraps, pies & quality breakfast & lunch options, Laura ensures the food is made with the care & love of a genuine Italian Mama…. and it shows!

Some delicious Mileto’s faves include; Polenta & Fungi (Truffled Parmesan polenta, king oyster mushroom, poached eggs, salsa verdi), Toscano Tostie (mushroom salsa, cheese & ham – YUM!), Grilled Haloumi Burger with tomato coleslaw & sweet chilli and of course, the classic home-made Minestrone Soup.

Choose from a variety of seating; outdoor and window tablesĀ are great for checking out the street action, or choose a cosy hide-away at a back-room table. All are comfy & make the most of the rustic “Italian Farmhouse” ambience.

Coffees (Rosso, locally ground), a small but quality selection of vino, birra, cocktails & fresh juices cover off the beverage choice very well.
